Per the police, six armed suspects entered the shop and allegedly pointed firearms at staff but fled quickly after without taking the rest after the staff screamed for relief.

Security guards spoke back to the calls for relief and chased the suspects who fled on foot right into a native commercial complex in Fairlands.

“The suspects hijacked two autos contained within the commercial complex, but they were cornered by the police and security guards sooner than they could well just force out,” police spokesperson Captain Mavela Masondo stated in an announcement.

Two suspects, aged 42 and 48, were arrested while the others managed to flee.
