The South African Nationwide Editors’ Discussion board (Sanef) has condemned the abuse and intimidation of SABC journalists by senior Zimbabwean government officials.

News anchor Peter Ndoro and the broadcaster’s foreign places editor, Sophie Mokoena, were the issues of abuse and intimidation.

Sanef acknowledged it believed the opposed atmosphere used to be an immediate attack on freedom of expression.
