Lagos has said it plans to defend native authorities elections in July.
An announcement by Chairman of the Lagos Direct Independence Electoral Price (LASIEC), Justice Ayotunde Phillips (rtd), said election into the offices of chairman, vp and councillors within the 20 councils and 37 LCDAs would defend that day.
The assertion reads: “LASIEC is committed to conducting a authentic and inclusive election and the Statutory Gaze will probably be printed soon.”
Tenure of the incumbents, who were in strength since 2017, will expire in July and the voice Inter-Occasion Advisory Council (IPAC) had suggested Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to provide plans for a brand unusual election.
