In May perchance well perchance also 1974, Roger Ailes received his first television-files job as a PR consultant at a fledging network called TVN, founded to fight the perceived liberal consensus of the Vast Three. Ailes, no matter his inexperience, became as soon as promoted to files director four months later. In a 1975 programming memo, excerpted under, Bruce Herschensohn, a dilapidated Nixon aide and movie director, described how TVN may perchance perchance well adapt the tricks and tropes of television files to conservative ends.
